What would you do if you were not afraid? Fear grips us and holds us in place. Life is meant to be lived not out of fear or in the state of fear but in freedom.
Many times in my life I have found myself caught up in fear’s grasp. What do we do when fear has such a hold on our actions?
Turn our minds to our heavenly Father, who does not want us to be afraid. HE wants us to trust HIM. Many times I have been bogged down thinking I am not able to be a voice. I have been afraid of who will want to listen to me. What do I have to say? You may have had other fears?
When you look back at the 12 men God chose to change the world their lives were not perfect far from it. They made a choice to trust God and that made all the difference.
Here are a few verses from the Bible that I keep near.
2 Timothy 1:7 New Living Translation (NLT)
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
Psalm 56:3 What time I am afraid I will trust in thee.
Today and every morning make the choice to live in love, courage and strength.
Trust God and all HE has for your life. Make the decision every day to put fear in the trash can and close the lid. I plan to do the same.
Have a blessed day.
